MICHAEL SIDENER, I CAME TO AUGUSTA IN 1953.OF COURSE THE FIRST THING I HAD TO DO WAS CHECK OUT RACE TRACKS.BILL MATHENY WAS DRIVING A CAR FOR AN OWNER IN WAYNESBORO GA.HA QUIT DRIVING A FEW YEARS LATER.I RAN THERE FROM 1954 UNTIL THE TRACK CLOSED,SOMEWHERE AROUND 1965.IT WAS A GREAT LITTLE TRACK.I HAVE A LOT OF GOOD MEMORIES FROM THERE.IF YOU HAVE QUESTIONS I MAY BE ABLE TO ANSWER SOME OF THEM, FRED HARPER
