Mike Porter

Mike Porter of West Virginia passed away this morning. His big heart and broad smile will be missed dearly. He died of complications following heart surgery.

One hell of a man. He will be missed by many. Thoughts and prayers to Ruth and the rest of the family.

Our thoughts and prayers go to Ruth and family from the Old Timers Racing Club.

Our thought's and prayer's are going to the Porter family.I remember Mike from Martinsville and have fond memories of the black and silver coal miner #3.R.I.P. Mike Porter.

Sad to hear of this. Our thoughts and prayers go out ot the family. Knew Mike from covering races in the Va-NC area. I remember his black and silver no.3. He won at Martinville and put the car on the pole at Daytona. Was always a nice fellow to talk to. Allways gave some good quotes and I have several photos I took of him. He raced because he loved it and worked hard.
