do you remember building a front end with 3/4 ton spindles? How about the work involved in fabricating one spindle then you had to get the centers in the correct place for the application.

Im creating an old coupe with this kind of setup and the old spring setup too. Racers Reunion is real good at stirring up old memories that have ALMOST been forgotten.

every time i get on here and read the posts or look at the great photos or new members something always jogs my memory of something from the good ole days.-----------------------------------------------------memories

Yes it was work and how many 3/4 ton rears we wasted but it worked. My cousin made a jig he could do one in a bout a hour.

I remember whenever and wherever I traveled I was on the lookout for 3/4 ton junked trucks.

In 52 I saw one in a field up around Reidsville, but had no money to buy it.

I told Perk Brown about it and Three weeks later he showed me it on his car at Bowman Gray.
