Hating Fans 18/48

Hey Everyone, I'm just going to talk about a famous topic that has been mentioned over and over. This is my opinion as to what I think is right. Don't be offended if it isn't what you think. Leave a comment at the end, if you have something to say.

NASCAR is a growing sport, and more and more drivers are trying to reach the top series. As years go by, the older Cup guys will retire, and new rookies will take their place. My sense, is you need a good few starts, to build a good reputation. Take Trevor Bayne for example, he won the Daytona 500. He got a huge amount of fans and respect for that. Either way, no matter how he does now, he'll have that respect and good reputation. Joey Logano, was expected to be the next big thing. Really? He's been in it over a year now, and has been at every single track. He hasn't won in Cup really at all. He's not top 12 in pts, or top 14. He's the next big star in Nationwide for sure, but not Cup. There is no real next big star in Cup right now. In terms of Dale Jr, he is the most popular driver. Is he the best, maybe not. He's in the top, that's for sure. What do you think? Does NASCAR favor drivers, It is quite possible. When your not allowed to go past the yellow line and JJ, JG or the 88 go under it, they aint penalized. When the 18 goes under, he's penalized. It's a mixture of thoughts, are they really favored? Do they really get away with things? When fans hate drivers, they really do. Does the 18 and 48 really deserve to be hated? NO! They did nothing wrong. Kyle may have been bad awhile back, but he's changed. He's more mature, doesn't wreck on purpose and talks to the media more when he's mad. He's a great guy and wins alot. He's one of the best drivers out there, whether you belive it or not. Kyle is in the top 3 of this time, if not the best driver of all time. It's not an opinion, that's a fact. Jimmie Johnson won 5yrs in a row, that's great not bad. He's proving to be the best driver in history. Nobody has done what he has done. He can't help that he's so good. You don't hate because the driver is good, or because they had a temper last year! That's non-sense! There's no if's you can say to this. If JJ had a different CC, no! He has Chad, and they won the cup! This is the present not the future. Until someone else has won the cup in the end, JJ is still the best.

There you have it, that's my idea on the sport so far. This was mainly about the main topics that have been debated for awhile. Got a comment you'd like to say about it. Agree? Disagree? I'd like to know what you have to think about any of this. Thanks for your time!

Mike.

It depends on where you are setting at the time of the infraction--if you are in the stands on turn ONE and it happens in turn three you only hear what happened, then you ponder this while the race goes on.

If you are in the pits there is a chance you were turned the correct way to glimpse the piece of action in process. If you are in the high dollar booths in the controlled atmosphere with a glass of bubbly you missed it probably.

So now the question is what really happened, did JJ really go below the line intentionally? Or did one of the good ole boys nudge him down there. You have to wait and let DW replay it his way first on screen then its replayed on the big screen .

But is JJ really good? Is Kyle ? How about Jr, All three are proven winners, Jr I think is going to be in the hunt this year at the end. But then Kyle will be too and JJ ? never count him out. thats three drivers, there are forty more and half are capable of fulfilling their dream at any time if luck plays their hand.

Old young or middle aged they are there waiting --We even got them from down under,up yonder and over there too so its not a good old boys sport no more.

The winner Sat nite will be----------------------the survivor of the dance with Lady Luck. Yup she is kin to the Lady in Black or otherwise called Darlington.

We all know its going to be pretty interesting race and predictions are wild as a horse race at staging time.

So if Kyle nudges someone or Tony takes the air off someone or if Kevin and Denny nudge each other and root someone else out of position do we stop frame the race to clarify who scratched the whiteline? Probably will be done several times during the race and fingers will point at a lot of drivers so get a big notepad so you can maybe keep score because you can bet the winner will be non other than-----------------!!

If JJ did indeed go below the yellow line he did not gain a position until he was in bounds and then made the pass. Look at it again and I'm sure you will agree. The rule book states that If You Go Below The Yellow Line To Gain A Position Then You Will Be Penalized and Placed At The End Of The Longest Line. Remember to gain a position you MUST PASS a car.

I am not a JJ fan but a rule is a rule no matter who is involved.
