Before Bobby Allison, it was "Fearless Freddie" I hated because he was the major competition for my guy. Go back and look at videos of the 1964 Rebel 300 and the National 400 from Charlotte. Two of the best examples of the competition between Freddie and The King. But, just as I learned to deeply respect and appreciate Bobby Allison as I realized his contribution to racing and now, for the past couple of years thanks to RR getting to spend quite a bit of time around him, he and I both know those feelings have changed. I will send Freddie a card, maybe even a letter, and let him know how I have come to respect him and appreciate his contributions to the sport.

What a change! It's been awhile since I've checked in and I'm quite surprised. It may take me awhile to figure it our but first look it's really great.
