Dave, you've been there so you know this article, although nicely written, hardly scratches the surface of all you can see at Memory Lane, or experience with your other senses. My first visit, however many years ago it was, four or five I think, I was speechless for the first 15 minutes and for me that is a huge accomplishment. Just ask Jeff about that! I visit as often as I can because I always see something I didn't see before. There is just that much in there. Not to mention our own RacersReunion Hall of Fame is located there as well.
Alex does an awesome job displaying everything and keeps the entire premises neat. Although he is a soft-spoken man, you can sense his passion for the sport just being around him.
Racing has been such a part of my life for more than 60 years now. When I visit Memory Lane, it is just THAT. A walk down memory lane of my life. Sometimes I find myself standing before a certain car and I can actually see that car roaring around Darlington, or Daytona, or some other track where I watched it race.
I hope to drop in on Alex again soon. Every fan with a memory of how it was when the sport was different, needs to visit Memory Lane. For those who weren't there for what we old timers call the "good old days" need to drop by for a visit so they can see from where this sport came.
I love that place!!!

What a change! It's been awhile since I've checked in and I'm quite surprised. It may take me awhile to figure it our but first look it's really great.
