He was referring to the dirt race in Nascar.. He actually acted like he was excited about the race. Did you watch the practice sessions today ? two of them and if this is any indication of whats in store for thurs nite -- O - B O Y

But can any of today's drivers power-slide it like Tiny Lund or Junior Johnson?

What a change! It's been awhile since I've checked in and I'm quite surprised. It may take me awhile to figure it our but first look it's really great.

This is definitely going to be one EXCITING Race!! Like they said last night...NONE of the drivers will be complaining about NOT enough power...LOL! Gear it down...LOL!! I just wish we were ALL together to watch it!!

Looking forward to watching tonight's show. Having watched Tiny and Junior power slide on dirt, as well as Curtis Turner and ole David Pearson, I think you ask a legitimate question, Tim. Big difference between sliding those old heavy 50s & 60s rides with manual steering and those goofy looking lightweight wedge shaped things.

For sure, it is going to be a "humdinger" of a race! Exciting! Wonder how many cautions there will be? I'm wishing all a safe and happy race!!

look at this video close and see the slide jobs that were used --- then replay last nites race (you taped it im sure) and watch those same moves used. different year but same techniques--- YES DIRT DOES RULE power wasnt the winner,it was driver control and a little setup --sure separated the wanna be's from the know how's
