Just received the news no one wants to hear. My great friend and fellow RR member Jim Kaserman passed away this morning in Ft. Myers, Florida. He drove the # 21 1951 orange & black Ford . I have had many races against him and he was always the consummate racer. Drove hard but clean. I have so many photos of our cars running together and many fond memories of the times in the pits. He would laugh and tell me how much he enjoyed beating me and I would remind him how seldom it happened. Al in good fun and warm memories of a true friend.

What a change! It's been awhile since I've checked in and I'm quite surprised. It may take me awhile to figure it our but first look it's really great.

That name popped up whenever I searched up "Vintage Modified Photos"

Jim, we will always miss you and that beautiful 1951 Ford you took around the track for us. God has another entry in the Heaven 500 today. Race In Peace Jim.

I was very surprised to see this post pop up again almost a year after the original notice of Mr. Kaserman's death. When I saw it, I immediately recalled having responded last October. Strange.

Jim not only participated in the inaugural beach-road course event, the first circumnavigation of the original course since 1959, he made sponsoring "North Turn" Restaurant's commemorative post card.............racing up the beach in February 2013 (left to right) Jim Kaserman, Harold Floyd, Sherman Garris, W.C. Bell, & Bobby Williamson.
