great report Dennis. I loved those G T cars. Talk about consistency, your dad sure knew how to finish didn't he? 16 races and 14 of them were in the top 5.!!
Dennis is thereany videos of these races ? I can remember seeing a GT or GN east from BowmanGrey on wide world of sports . Thanks for sharing these with us
Johnny, I have never seen any videos but that does not mean there are none. I do remember Wide World of Sports broadcasting an event at the Stadium. I did not get to see it but as I remember it was in 1971 and was probably one of the combination races that had Grand National and Grand American cars entered. May have been the one Bobby Allison won, can't remember. Dad had friends in Arizona that called when they saw the race on TV.
