What happened to Hugh Babb after 1948 to 1953

Hi guys,

Back on my favourite topic. Gremlins have kept me away for a wile but I have been working away on Hugh.

I know quite a bit up til early 48and I know he was still working for Al Dykes in 1950. What cars did he work on/prepare after the 37 Ford coupe that was driven by Fonty/Billy Carden & Bo Fields?

I know by 53 he was working at JP Rotton's garage but what in between? I cn find no mention of cars or BabbSpecial til he built the Sudebaker.

Help!!!!

Your first problem is being in that cccold enviroment, the second is you not hooking up with the correct info. Try Bill Blair again or Jim Streeter or even Bill McPeek. those guys had their antennas up very high during that era. You are also in my dads era but I cant help you other than what you already know. Sorry to say all my contacts are now racing in Gods Speedway just on the other side of the Golden gates to heaven.

All I know is he didn't do much after 1957.
