That's the only photo I've ever seen that made Buddy look small. The gentle giant meets a real giant!

Oddly enough, I saw these guys in action the same weekend. My first Daytona 500 was 1980 as a 14 year old - the one where Buddy won his one and only D500. The night before the race, my uncle took me to a wrasslin match in Jacksonville. Andre wrestled Harley Race. He got us good seats near the ring. And to this day, I'll never forget how monstrous that guy was as he lumbered by the stands and over the top rope by straddling it.
