Hello Craig. This was Herb Thomas' car but Fonty Flock was driving it. This accident ended Fonty's career as a race car driver. Bobby Myers crashed head on into him and the crash ended Myers life.

You welcome Craig. I tell you that was one vicious hit, I mean the whole right front is peeled back towards the drivers compartment. Darlington has been the scene of some horrific wrecks in the past.
