Thinking this is 1989. I don't know the difference in the Petty haulers between 1987 (another Richmond snow-out) and 1989. But Sunoco wasn't sponsoring Billy Hagan's team in 87. So I'm voting 1989.

... Sadly, this cold weather ended up as a foreshadowing of cold times for the King when the re-scheduled race ran a few weeks later. The 43 failed to qualify for the race - ending a consecutive start streak dating back to 1971.

When the cars returned to race without snow, I understand a weird vibe fell over the track as folks realized the 43 was headed home BEFORE the race.
