I love this photo. It really shows how the drivers of that era lived in expensive neighborhoods and wore Ralph Lauren clothesIm not putting down the financial success of drivers of today. God Bless them, but this photo shows the real beginnings of the sport. When drivers were just happy to race.

If you'll notice, this picture is signed right on the roof panel in ink pen.... It's so old it's just about faded away.....

I agree with Robert Kelleher, this photo tells of the story of an average "Joe" that made it to the "Big-Time" from his meager background with hard work and determination. Great photo.
