The Daytona belongs to Dr don Tarr. He received as a gift from Dodge for setting a speed record in Talledega in 1967 for the fasted time in a Dodge.

One of the convertables isowned by Gary Potter (the '58 #32). His Father, Jess Potter built the car originally and it was driven in the first Daytona 500 by Brownie King...who was at this event. The car was also driven by Paul Lewis...who was also at that event. I'll have to defer on the story behind the '57...mabybe Hack can tell us.
