Good day. New member here and I'm very happy to find this site and thread. My family was stationed at Pearl Harbor from 1956-62 and we attended as many of the stadium races as I could beg and plead with my folks to attend. If my dad was on a cruise, my mom wouldn't take us. Regardless, I loved the races, especially the modifieds and my favorite driver was Cherrie Neves. I'd love to see share any images of his cars (especially color if available), bench race stories, race reports, season standings, etc. that members may have on him. My scrapbook from those days is long gone. I do have one book on the stadium, but it is in storage and I can't remember the author's name sorry to say. I do have a few things from the web, like his Obit, but that's it. Any help greatly appreciated. Perhaps there are surviving family members that might be willing to post or share photos? Thanx, Gary.
