Thank to everyone that came to my Autograph & Book signing at the 715 Moose Lodge inLynchburg,Va. Are there any Racers Reunion Members out there that remember the old Dixie Sportsman Circut?

Hello,Shrader Field was one of the tracks. The track was in Madison Heights, Va. across the river from Lynchburg,Va.Its was named Lynchburg Speedway about 1954. A driver from up north had trouble finding Shrader Field andasked why they didn't name the speedway Lynchburg Speedway and he said we could find Lynchburg.And the track was Lynchburg Speedway at Shrader Field. Like Jeff said get Bill Mangum Books. Bill daddyGordon Mangum won the last ran on dirt at Shrader Field. I live about 4 miles from the track.Parts of the track is still there.Thanks
