I have not liked the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Chase from the beginning. What the sanctioning body has done now, is make a poor Championship method even worse.

George Brunnhoelzl III was recently honored as the NASCAR Southern Modified Tour Champion. One of his young team members Austin Doub passed away in November after fighting Muscular Dystrophy for years. George and Austin's father, Reggie spoke about the teenage racer who was taken too soon.
