Prayers for Dale and Mary Inman

Prayers being sent for Dale and Mary.
Dave I just got back from a trip to Caraway Speedway today. Darrell was there with his son Kirk who builds and maintains a Late Model Stock for Kirk's nephew Ryan Wilson. They were there testing today. Darrell's other son Shannon works for Turner Motorsports. He hangs the bodies for them.
I was suppose to have been doing yard work today but a friend called this morning and wanted to go riding. I said good I know where we can go. LOL
Amen to that PK. Another very littleknown fact about Darrell Bryant is that before his career change Darrell made his living working in a print shop running a printing press. No not printing funny money to go racing. LOL
The details I gave above aren't that much but if little things like this are never written about somewhere then when we are gone unfortunately the facts will be too.
Dave while watching this video I recognized Jim Clodfelter at 4:19. Jim is the man to Janet's left without a hat facing the camera. I called Darrell Bryant to see who else from Janet's cup crew helped pit her car that day at Indy. I remembered there being several who made the trip but I could not remember who. Darrell Bryant changed the right rear on her car and Darrell's brother Jack was his tire carrier. Jim Clodfelter gassed the car and Toby Varner assisted Jim.
God bless Major Thomas Ferebee the Bombardier on the Enola Gay along with the rest of the crew. He was born and raised in Mocksville, NC. In High School Major Ferebee played sports along side his cousin Joe Ferebee who coached American Legion Baseball for years in Rowan County, NC. Joe also coached baseball at Pfeiffer University. He is the all time winningest baseball coach in North Carolina.
Awesome Dave. We live about 1/2 mile from the China Grove exit 68 so I am reminded of the accident quite often. At least 3 times per week traffic is stopped on the I-85 Southbound side because of accidents in the same area.
