I do know for a fact there were spotters. I am friends with one who was spotting for one the cars. As far as the cars goes, these are very well built cars. The USAR Pro Cup Series had these cars donated from various teams. The report I got from my spotter buddy was Charlie did that old Days of Thunder phrase aim for the wreck it should be gone by the time you get there....in this case it did not apply. angie pastor said:

S.T.A.R.S. Radio car win Grand Prix

We participated in our church's AWANA Grand Prix. Boy did we have a blast. My daughter Megan won the kids and my son Eddie was 2nd. Megan won the design competition with her Wii controller car. and My S.T.A.R.S. Radio car won the overall competition.

Jeff without a doubt one of the best since 2001, which was one of the best for the racing aspect. But obviously one of the saddest due to the lost the best plate racers ever.
