What would YOU do in Sam Ard's place?

Sam Ard fell again last week hitting his head on unknown object causing a bad laceration. He was transported to the hospital ER, sutured and test run. Jo has lots of decisions to make about his care.She realizes that he might need to be in a nursing home but he has always wanted to stay at home. However it is really a strain on the family-especially Jo.We'd like to hear how you'd feel if you were in Sam's condition. Would you rather be home with your wife as primary caretaker or in a nursing facility with trained staff 24/7?

Thanks for the kind replies to Sam's Online RR Birthday Party. Sam and Jo were at their daughter, Sharon's home during the icestorm and power outage. After their power is restored, one of us will read your birthday wishes to him.
