Stock Car Racing History
I'm glad to see there is so much interest in these cars. The cars and drivers from the old days made the sport what it is today (or should I say what is had become a few years ago). I drove from Kannapolis to Jacksonville, Florida, yesterday to pick up a '56 Ford vintage stock car to run with a couple of the vintage stock car racing clubs in the Carolinas. There seems to be quite an appetite for these cars. I sure got a lot of attention on the road coming home yesterday from people of all ages.Kenny Welch
