Danica & Ricky Drafting Song
Stock Car Racing History
It's snowballing... can't you see the handwriting on the wall? Big NASCAR wedding at the Las Vegas track. Bruton gets Rice-a-roni as event sponsor.

Ole Ricky better keep his eyes wide open. If that divorce thing works out for Danica, she'll probably be dragging the youngster you know where.
Save your Dixie Cups, the South will rise again!!!
Heck, I bet Bruton would build a little white wedding chapel in the Las Vegas infield and marry them during pre-race!
Gosh, suppose Danica had met Bill Elliott or Bill McPeek before she met Ricky?
Perfect, Woody... and here's a video of what she told Ricky on Valentine's Day:
With the Daytona 500 fast approaching, I believe it's time to seriously consider a drafting song for those two Big D lovebirds, Danica Patrick and Ricky Stenhouse.
The song I propose was a top hit the same year Richard Petty won the 1973 Daytona 500 in his #43 STP/Petty Enterprises 1973 Dodge - over Bobby Isaac in the Bud Moore #15 Ford.
This song was always a big favorite on "Soul Train" and here's a clip of my proposed song from that show. Do you have a drafting song you'd propose for this new tandem?

I caught that, too.
Buddy Baker won in the Harry Ranier #28, followed by Bobby in Bud Moore's #15.
and in the 1984 pre-roof flap Clash, Ricky Rudd drove in the Daytona 500 with his eyes taped open the week following the incident below and two weeks after the crash won the short track race at Richmond wearing a flak jacket. One of racing's most memorable comebacks. Commentary by "The King"
and that, newcomers, is the kind of racing that used to put fannies in seats at the NASCAR tracks!
