Johnny and the one you did, which I read this morning, is absolutely awesome. Only one thing I can add: MORE, MORE, MORE.

Ok, it appears History has won thus far and I love writing about history., My only issue here is that I've been writing about it so long I may become repetitious and I would hate that. You all have to promise to call me out on it. Another problem is that you guys who responded at better at the history than am I. So I already know what you're doing, or at least what I hope you're doing. You're going to let me write the story, throw in my own memories as applicable and then you will start adding your memories. Nothing could be finer!!! The History Minutes I used to do, when added to by Dave, Chase, Dennis and others, at times, became a really big thing which Chase has carried on admirably. If we can get something like that going again, we will be rocking. We are the history site. That's what we're about, and that is as it should be. Thank you all.
Or, we could run a fiction story of a race team. A weekly serial from the imagination of my own little brain.
Question: What would you folks like to see as, say a weekly Forum Post writtenby yours truly? Comments on the current race week? Most historic stories? Personal memory stories of my years around racing? Perhaps nothing at all. Just post your responses and I'll see what I can come up with to keep posts flowing,.
Thanks.

That was an impressive run for Chris and Front Row. Then the broadcast crew had to go into detail as to how this was actually a Jack Rousch satellite team and as such was using all Roush equipment. My response to that is it wasn't one of Jack's drivers who won, it was 23 year old Chris. I hope this will be the first of many for him regardless of the equipment. It just seemed to me that the broadcast crew was trying to say the win was due to Roush and really wasn't giving proper credit to Chris and the team. Way to go boy.
Johnny, thanks for posting this positive comment on sometime most of us on this site like, really like.
I would classify it as a mess and blame it on Hamlin.
My thoughts and prayers to the family and friends of David. It is almost impossible for me to believe he was 79. Seems like just months ago I was watching him race. Time flies.
Sandeep, thanks for reading and for commenting. You analogy is spot on!! I had not thought of it along those lines, but you are right. In fact, I think, you are right about that as an analogy of how my love for current day NASCAR is taking a beating.
Good to hear from you as always. Take care and stay in touch.
Dave, your insight is brilliant. You hold all the cards over those NASCAR folks. It's like I can't understand why NASCAR keeps doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. Isn't that the definition of stupidity?
