Yes, I recognize the writing style, the intelligence and the passion so I know who wrote this. However, I will NOT tell Leon Phillips that his alias, Joe Fan, has been appropriated. Great thoughts set out in print show, once again, the power of the press to those who will listen. None so blind as he who WILL not see, none so deaf as he who WILL not hear. Note the use of "will" rather than "can not". That's were we are. Great job Joe Fan. Perhaps you need to send that to NASCAR along with an interpreter who can explain it to those there.
OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Another disappointment in humankind!!!! PK actually keeps up with D.W.'s schedule and where he is at all times. And I actually thought PK was a good person! Guess the whole world wears that thin candy shell that hides the darkness within. I am so distraught over this latest discovery.
I watched the video of the press conference with Joe Gibbs and Kyle Busch. Thank you, PattyKay, for posting it. It disgusts me as I have already stated. However, it leadsme to the following predictions for the weekend and beyond:
1. Busch will stand before his peers at the drivers meeting in Phoenix and offer a scripted apology written by the best writer his forces can muster. He may wish to consult Ernie Irvan for pointers.
2. One of the networks, SPEED, ESPN., FOX or ABC will put D.W. before us to offer his take on the matter and his comments regarding Busch. You can imagine what will bumble out of the mouth of that "elder statesman". I may need to record that segment because in the future it will be referred to as "the mentally deficient commenting on the mentally incompent".
3.Ticket sales to future Joe Gibbs motivational seminars are going to take a drastic hit as he sure can't motivate Busch so people who spend money and time to go to such seminars of "The Coach" would be better served to spend their money on a good tv where they can watch Spongebob Squarepants and surely Spongebob and Squidward are far more believeable that Joe Gibbs and Kyle Busch.
Oh you are so right Jim. I have been fortunate enough to hear many of the stories first hand over the years.
