Indy Nationwide Crowd??

Current NASCAR

I'd like to see them run the roadcourse at Indianapolis. But the Nationwide Series is just Cup Series Lite now. I would watch the Nationwide Series races if would not race at the same track the cup guys run on a weekend. The series I think needs to have it's own identity.

"Real" Media Members Don't Ask for Driver Autographs or Posed Photos

General

I work in TV News myself and the most important thing I remember is I am covering people, places and events. I am on the job and I got a job to do for the public. If I was covering a NASCAR event I would not even think to ham it up and get autographs. I will do that on my own time as a fan. But if I am on the clock and doing a job, no way.

Two (FREE) ESPN On Demand Auto Racing Films listed: 3 NATION - The Life and Lecacy of Dale Earnhardt and Tim Richmond: To The Limit

Stock Car Racing History

Yes, It is called. " Dale Earnhardt,One Tough Customer" It was I think 30-45 minutes long. It is on the Dale DVD. The one that was put out by the Earnhardt family. It is on Disc 2 in the bonus material. Great film. In it we see a young Dale Jr water skiing. Yeah that part is funny where Dale is driving to the track in this big Pontiac in these big shades and big cowboy hat going, "I'm Dale Earnhardt" was great.

HUGE Decline in NASCAR Tix Sales

Current NASCAR

Last night's Coke Zero 400 would have to rank up with the worst races we have seen all year. Bristol, Richmond, Darlington and Talladega had some of the worst racing I have ever seen in my many years as a NASCAR fan. Sad to say but those were tracks I always looked forward to seeing races at and each time they were just let downs this year. I was reading the comments on the NASCAR page on Facebook and other message boards and alot of people are just disgusted. Many long time fans. Yes it is the economy to blame. When all you are concerned about is making sure you make ends meet NASCAR no longer is much of a distraction from the daily grind because you can no longer afford it like you used to. The racing will get better, after all at the beginning of the year Brian France wrote that nice letter saying he would listen to us. Right like that will ever happen. I can only watch old races on youtube and enjoy that more then the product we have now and while the sport gets ruined

#3 Poised for Return to Cup Circuit?

Stock Car Racing History

I say it is time to bring the 3 back. I do not think we should retire numbers. Just my take there. Only way to carry the memory on is to see that number on the track and not hung on some banner or sign. What would happen if we retire the 3, then others would want numbers retired. I say put it back on the track where it belongs. I am sure Dale Sr would say the same too. Dale Jr said it best in that commercial, "He would want us all to move on" BRING THE 3 BACK. Childress can do what he wants.

10 to go, CAUTION, Where is the debris?

Current NASCAR

Ok, glad you could clear that up. Indeed a piece of metal is not something to be left on the track. I cannot hold TNT responsible to get a shot of it because they do not have many cameras but at least mention what it was so I am not thinking it was a fake yellow. Indeed the racing was good but it always seems like we are seeing more races have a yellow with 10 to go. Yes Joey and Martin going at it was the kind of racing I think we all want to pay to see. So yeah, you were right, that was good to see. better then last week

10 to go, CAUTION, Where is the debris?

Current NASCAR

This is getting sickening. I am getting very tired of this. I do not want to see races fixed or determined this way. Let em run till it ends NASCAR. This is this second week in a row this has happened. This why they are losing fans.

JR'S TAKE ON THE MODERN DAY TALK OF "CHANGE" with a twist

Stock Car Racing History

I would be all for a smaller schedule. Scale back and make each race matter more. It used to be the reason some tracks had second dates was because races sold out. Well most races have not sold out. Saw alot of empties at Dover this weekend and Charlotte had some empty parts as well. Whenever I see sponsor banners in places where there could be people that tells the story right there.

I know I have expressed my points before and I hate sounding like a broken record so I will save it and simply say one thing to add. ITS NOT YOUR DADDY'S NASCAR ANYMORE
