dave i enjoy reading about short track racing especially about the ones that took place i sc nc and va the racing of today just cant compete with what we had back in the sixties and seventies keep these great post coming thanks

yes cravon was a great driver and man as well i had the pleasure of workingon the car he drove to third place at wilson nc in the 200 lap season finale the car was owned by van johnson from snow hill nc it was a ford fairlane no 21 a 1967 model red and white like the wood brothers car
hey dave thanks for this post i always enjoy reading anything about wilson speedway i was there for for this race it was a good one third place finisher cravon kiker was driving a ford owned by van johnson a man in my neighborhood that my brother and me helped work on i was 17 years old at the time

i remember this day very well i always pulled for parsons one of the nicest guys to have ever put a helmet on and i agree with dave on lennie being named rookie of the year instead of that shaggy headed motormouth dw
