1956 Pinebowl The first effort out of Cohoes,NY. M6 Miron six kids,we also had T-2 for my uncle and his girls. This was a family project at Joe Belucki`s garage, everyone`s name was installed with a 1 inch brush, mine is on this side, next to my other two brothers Dave and Paul. Other side had my cousin Nancy, along with my sister Denise, and our dog Skipper.. Over windshield was Joe`s daughter Pat and my other cousin Donna. Ignots was Joe`s dog...I have not a clue why that, but he was on the car,and angle iron on the front gave testament to whose it was. They didn`t have 20 bucks in this thing and had nothing but fun. I believe they got $5 to tow it,and $12 or $15 to roll it,winner of the race got $10 and a case of cheap beer for his efforts. The best ham & cheese sandwiches were made in the back of my Dad`s International stepvan which we flat towed this, with spare wheels so if one or two were bent,we could drag it home on them. Much simpler back then and I wouldn`t trade a minute of it.
