I try to tell newcomers to the asheville area about this track and they look at me like i am crazy.

Paul, Thanks for your comment, that's funny. Weaverville had (2) 500 lap races each year and was a half mile high banked paved track. I ran dodges there in the GN or Cup Series in 64, 65, 66.
