Perhaps NASCAR should look at a "Back to the Future" solution. As Paul Woody noted, the season starting late the prior year was a neat thing. Perhaps NASCAR could better compete with the NFL season with the start of a NEW season vs. wrapping up one when folks have tuned out the chase.
