Hey Jack ,I took that shot at Rambi on Sept. 1st, 1962. Butch Torrie did not have a good finish that night as he finished 23rd in the field of 27 cars. There were several other VA drivers that made the long tow down to Myrtle Beach that night : Jim Williamson, Bob Clark, Bill Lorah, and Doug Joyce. Joyce had the best finish coming in 11th. The top 5 in the Dixie 66 were: Dink Widenhouse, George Dunn, Mutt Powell, Bobby Isaac , and Frank Burnham.Jack - Carolina Race Place
