I was at a Vintage Stock Car race at Concord Motorsports Park Concord, NC November 2005. The North South Shootout. The Northern & Southern Feather Light Modifieds also ran there.I helped a driver named Steve Penson load his 1935 Ford Coupe after his race, after talking to him he told me about this spare body he had but was not for sale. I gave him my phone number & e-mail address and told if he ever decided to sell it that I was very interested in it because that was the same body my father ran #37. He e-mailed me the next year and said that he would sell it because he had blown his new engine and wrecked his car. I guess he was short on money "that's racing".A friend and I drove 400 miles one way with my open trailer to get it and 400 back home. That trip was a lot of fun. We spent one night in Charlotte, NC and got to go through Memory Lane Museum in Mooresville, NC. Have you been to that museum yet ? If not, You need to go! it's real cool !
