Dick Poling was at Darlington in 1971 for the Rebel 400, but did not qualify for the race which had a full field.

Curious if anyone other than @dave-fulton or myself visits this site anymore. Is it worth our bumping previous posts or contributing new ones? Re-tagging and liking many photos? A ton of new "members" have joined in recent weeks. Have seen no contributions from them. Are they real or bots? A real shame to watch what was become what is.

Gwyn Staley of Burlington, NC last drove this 1956 Chevy to a 4th place finish in a Nascar convertible race at Jacksonville,NC on November 11th, 1956. The car next showed up in Dayton, OH where Iggy Katona drove it to a 2nd place finish in a MARC sanctioned race on April 14th, 1957. Note that the name on the door in Dayton still says Gwyn Staley. This photo is from the Jim Wilmore Collection.
