Lee & Richard finished 9th and 13th, respectively, in their Petty Enterprises Oldsmobiles. Instead of racing #43, Richard's number was the reverse of his father's - #24.11/9/69 - Richard finished 6th in his Ford in the Georgia 500 at Middle Georgia Speedway in Macon.11/9/75 - Richard finishes 3rd in the Dixie 500 at Atlanta.
