October 30 - This day in Petty history 10/30/52 - Lee finishes 4th in a 200 lap race at Palm Beach Speedway in West Palm Beach FL.10/30/60 - All 3 Petty cars finish in the top 10 in the Atlanta 500. Jim Paschal finishes 3rd in #44, Lee is 6th, and Richard is 7th.10/30/66 - In Junior Johnson's last race as a driver, Richard qualifies 2nd but finishes 28th. Paul Lewis (who???) finishes 29th in a #42 Petty Plymouth in his only start for Petty Enterprises.
