Harvey Jones is a former NASCAR driver from Tallahassee, FL. He competed in one Nextel Cup event in his career. That came in 1965, when Jonesraced at Voldosta. Starting last (21st), Jones managed to avoid themechanical problems that plagued competitors all day. As a result,Jones' lone race ended with a remarkable fifth place effort.
He lived in Fla but was a regular all over Georgia. From his famous #6flathead coach to the latemodel camero he was the man to beat. Harveyran up until he could no longer do it competitively then he quit andwent home and quietly passed away the next day. these photos are of how Iremember Harvey.
