GC Autograph I have a great memory of GC. Right after the second Grand National race at Hickory Speedway in 1970, I was walking up and down pit row and getting driver autographs. I saw GC and handed him my program. He flipped through it but couldn't find his picture. He saw an advertisement that included picture of a gorilla. He said, "I'll just sign this monkey's picture. He looks like me anyway." I still have the program and was privileged to show it to show it to some members of of GC's family not long ago.
