Dick Rathmann

Hey, this is Randy Rathmann looking for information on an apparant relative, Dick Rathmann. I had no idea we had a famous race car driver in the family until I was sitting in a barber shop reading a car magazine while waiting my turn and discovered an ad for a Hudson Hornet stock car. The drivers names were painted on the top and I nearly droped my teeth when I saw Dick Rathman. There wasn't enough room to spell it corectly.

What is really amazing is that my first car was a 1948 Hudson convertible - wish I had it back now. That was fifty years ago and the old car was so worn out when I got it I could never have imagined a Hudson race car.

Is Dick still alive?
