What is David doing now?

I just wondered how some of you guys got interested in Davids career, you are all spread out around the country.

The other day my brother and I were talking about championship season's for "THE WINSTON CUP" and I went to 75 or 76 and noticed David in 11th place, I had lost touch with him after May, 1973 when transferred to Columbia, SC. I didn't realize he had gotten that high in the standings, prety darn good for a guy that had to finish his regular job Friday afternoon then drive like mad to make the second qualifying session to get in, good job and loved what he did.

I'm one of the few on RR who have been paid directly in cash by Big Bill.

In the early days he paid in cash after the race.
