Jerry, thanks for putting this up. I grew up watching all the Roberts (Johnny, Jimmy and Donnie) race in Michigan. I remember in 1970 or so, Auto City Speedway in Flint, Michigan would get a car together for the track champion (Ray Daniels) at Auto City to race at Daytona in the ARCA race. Seeing Auto City on the quarter panel, I wonder if this was the same thing done for Johnny Roberts in 1967 by Auto City Speedway.

One more thing Jerry, in Johnny's Bio for the Michigan Motorsports Hall of Fame, it says he had a horrible accident at Daytona in 1965. Could the Hall of Fame have the wrong year in his bio or was this his second bad crash in 3 years racing at Daytona? Any ideas? Thanks.Pete

You are right Jerry, it was 1967 and the year is wrong on Johnny's bio in the Michigan Motorsports Hall of Fame. It did go on to say that within a week of the accident, he drove himself back to Michigan which is quite amazing. He didn't have any serious injuries. Thanks for the great picture Jerry.
