Thanks for all the IMCA photos of the oriiginal IMCA.This is no Chevelle though, its Verlin Eaker's 65 Dodge Coronet, with Hemi Power. He was a Mopar fixture for most of his career, but did win the World 100 at Eldora in a Nova.

You are quite welcome Jim, and again Thank you for putting these up. It's really difficult to find pictures of these "New Model" racers from the "Old" IMCA. From what I've read it was a tremendous but forgotten circuit and they had a sprint car division too. They were extremely popular in their region, and they just had wild, competetive 100 and 200 lap races at a lot of the big old fairgrounds dirt ovals around the Midwest and the plains. The local fans couldn't wait when they heard the "big dogs" like Ernie Derr, Irv Janey, Darrell Dake and of course Verlin were coming to town with these big, colorful stock cars.
