Great photos as always John. Were you in the stands at the June race in 1979 and watch Blackie sail over the guardrail in turn 3?

I sure was. The 3rd and 4th turn were not kind to Blackie.

My wife and I were in the grandstands, usually my family was camped on the backstretch. I was trying to impress Jill so we went first class. Blackie always had a fast car, but you're right he had some problems in 3 and 4. Thanks for letting me re-live memories of those days. The pictures are just outstanding!
