What's the history on this one?

I shot this picture at Charlotte, Good Guys car show last year. I did not get a chance to talk to owner. I do not know any history of this car.

Looks like an original converted to a street car. Really different.

Yes, I think you are correct. I am a street rod fan and have see these type cars in the past on the road. In Va. back 10 years or so there was a trip sponsored by Hot Rod mag. from N to S across the USA. I saw them at a gas stop off of 95. There were two old dirt cars a 55 & a 57 Chevy. They were a lot rougher than this car. This car was old but still had a lot of steel in it. I go to Charlotte GG's show each year and have seen these type cars there. Also the picts. I posted of the #1 car were in Charlotte.
