XENIA, OH. - May 12 - The fourth NASCAR Racing Series event of the season Friday night at Kil-Kare Speedway produced the forth different Late Model feature winner. Fairborn's John Vallo , who has been in the top four in previous finishes, put his Rick's Automotive Monte Carlo around early leader Don Mahaffey, Jr. on lap 12. Pole sitter Mahaffey shot into the lead with Vallo, who started fourth, charging into second from his fourth starting spot and the chase was on. Vallo tried the outside groove to no avail but on lap 12, he darted inside Mahaffey exiting turn three for the lead. Mahaffey, after a five year absence from Kil-Kare stayed in second at the finish.
