We were down in Brunswick Ga right after golden isles speedway was open and it was a big 1/2 mile flat track with long curves. It was sandy as all get out and holes were all on the bottom, well Tiny was there with his chevelle and parked next to us on back row close to turns 1 & 2. His bunch was over talking with us when tiny sided over and asked who was driving our car. My dad answered and over he come to me and said if you move up to the high side the way your car is handling you can do way better, then said better yet you follow me when green flag drops and we will put on a show for the crowd. Well as they started fast times inverted for the feature we started way in the back and off he went on the outside.i wasnt to cool on this high side because there was no outside fence and if you went over there were stumps out there to snag you. but after starting the feature about 3 or 4 times i got easier on riding high, now anyone who knows tiny knows he knows two speeds and he had it hung all sidways around the top. and i was doing all i could to stay tucked in behind him cause a couple of the others had moved up after we blew by.there was one car that was lightning fast and he got up there doing battle with tiny. after a few laps someone would mess up and yellow flag.this went on for a few times with this fla car(i wasnt going to tell that but oh well) kept messing with tiny so next thing i know tiny just off and left us in the dust, both me and the fla car, he was just riding around putting on a show for the crowd until leroy ,yup that one, started bumping him so he got out of the way and won hands down. afterwards he came over and apologised for running off like that o yeah he kinda scolded leroy for bumping thats more of those wonderful "memories"
