I have been to one or two races on Memorial Day but I think this Mondays race will stick in my mind for a long long time.---AT 1500 hrs or 3pm sharp---THEY RED FLAGGED THE RACE---now ive never saw it before like this ,but for one minute every motor,every noise seemed to disappear,and as the cameras panned the pit crews and stands and other people i do not believe i saw a dry eye in the place,I mean it was erie quiet like never has that place been that quiet. Im not saying it was possessed but I do know the fallen were on everyones mind for that moment and maybe a time afterwards,how long ,who knows but it was very moving!!!!!!!
