Well it looks like there is more noise in the garage about the "IROC"cars we see race each weekend,oh wait those are not supposed to be IROC cars they are supposed to be ford, chevy, dodge and toyota but no one can tell if you take number off car.they are what is called cookie cutter same,i think the general public is getting ready for something to change because its gotten the point of a follow the leader game unless someone like kyle jumps out of line and tries something different and then they start crying wolf and wanting to test him for being an alien or worse.the sport needs visibility, definable with character, not mundane mold butter like it is now. --Go back just 20 years, thats not to long if you think of it,---every car out there had a distinct look---bobby allison and terry labonte never looked different and not to leave the man out of the picture but all these cars were character different,if you move that period forward to today it would not fit because of THE MOLD, --they were different---heck even that drunk watching it on tv could cipher who was who back then but today if it aint wrote on the screen they say W H O ??---This is not racing the way the crew reading this was brought up to know it---call us old fashion or what ever you want to call me but todays racing is----- N O T our nascar its ------im through --next in line can have the soap box !!!--------------------memories

I usually follow Tim, but I'd be perfectly happy if a new template could be created to match a body style of cars actually produced and sold to the general public. No spoilers added or front air dams. Oh I think they already tried this; sorry. Plus todays drivers couldn't drive a car without all these aero aids because the cars just wouldn't handle like slot cars. Imagine the complaining by these professional drivers if they actually had to muscle these cars around the track and have to let off the gas to get around the corners and fight loose, loose, loose every lap. Oh, I think that was tried years ago, too. My opinion doesn't matter, Nascrap does what they want anyway.Ok Tim, your turn!!Pete

We all need to see that "vintage" race or , vintage series @ historical tracks . Maybe that would soothe the cravings of what once was.

did you happen to go to darlington last year for festival when we ran the cars of "NVRA" on the big track? Man that messed up a bunch of minds seeing old coups and sedans out there along with the 50's and 60's cars of dreams for some. It was something to see but a thrill to be out there"again".If no one has any pictures of the event , (im sure someone does) maybe i can dig a few out to post
