I'm trying to remember, but didn't Junior and crew change an engine at Michigan in near record time, too? I was thinking 11 or 12 minutes for that one too.Pete

I think in Cale's last cahmpionship year they changed 3 motors that year all within 12 minutes then NASCAR banned engine changes during race for some "BULLCRAP" reason. THAT was quick, I actually watched them do one and it was amazing just to think of the coordiantion involved.

You're not kidding Paul. I remember the driver even worked to disconnect what he could from inside the car. I thought I heard 9 minutes on the change in Michigan, but I could be wrong on that. I've got some old MIS programs and maybe they'll mention it in there. I couldn't believe what they were able to do and those parts were HOT!! too. Great post, Johnny!Pete
