I am now informing NASCAR. Whoever did this secret testing is going to get in trouble. I understand that Jimmy Johnson and Chad are thinking about trying to do the same thing here at Columbia Speedway. I doubt that it will be tolerated. LOL Joe Fan

Does he soft pedal off the corner or does he hammer down?
With the abraisive surface at Columbia he was having some trouble exiting the corners...and just as you've observed, Tommy...he was hammering the pedals. Tim is working with him on the soft pedal technique, but the kid is so aggressive, he's having trouble understanding that sometimes...slower can be faster. The photos that are missing are the ones with Tim on the trike demonstrating the proper pedal techniques. Tim was actually a couple of tenths quicker than the kid even though his cowboy boot heals were dragging the track on the bottom of each stroke and his hat acted like a sail and created drag.
Looks to me like he actually won the race and was getting ready to do his burnout. He was waiting for the flagman to bring him the checkered flag.
Jeff, go ahead and set the first "race" date for the old speedway.I think the RacerReunion members are on to something.One lap around the ole lady.....................with no pushing from us old farts.And, the group photograph would be cool with the little knee biters sipping on a bottle of juice and holding/promoting the Racers & Chasers CD while strapped in.Am sure they will all be running their mouths about nothing, just like the modern day "drivers".These "motorsport" vehicles must be stock, just like back in the day, with no modifications and certainly no "COT's" (Cycles of Tomorrow).There supporters (sponsors) must be RacersReunion members!
