Jeff Hawkins was from Greenville SC . He lived there from the fortys on and raced at greenville pickens speedway from the late 40's thu the 70's and won many championships there . He is the only driver that won championships on the track when it was dirt and then again when it was paved He was one of the original 7 members of NVRA ..In 1996 where he raced again winning.. this picture was taken at the wall of winners at g/p speedway with one of his winning cars .. Jeff you may be gone and will thoroughly be missed but you will not be forgotten because here at R/R you will always be remembered as one of the greatest .. Sir I salute you for your accomplishments Rest in peace !!!!
